I had the second of a three-package facial treatment today. I just realised that this particular facial place was set up by a former local actress, whom I have grown up watching her shows. Even though she had never been in any lead roles, I remember her as a pretty versatile actress who could handle any role she was given, hence she was mostly in those major supporting roles.
When I reached the facial place, I saw her sitting at the counter. I did not recognise her at first because well, one just looks different on television than in real life. Besides she looks older now. But when I indicated I recognised her, she acknowledged and gave a big smile. Even though she is the boss, she still did everything almost on her own, like calling clients to remind them of their appointments, serving customers, talking to her staff. No airs at all!
The facial treatment was okay. I have had better. There was extraction but not that thorough I think. Even the mask was not placed on any gauze but just thick gel direct on my face, although I like what the therapist did to my eyebrows though.
My final session is next month, and after that I would be "relieved" from the package. Hopefully the final one will change my impression of the session for the better.
