The wife of our Minister Mentor had passed away yesterday. She was really one great woman who had everything and could do everything. She excelled in her studies and got a scholarship to England at a time when not many girls went to school.
She supported her husband in his political career. She was her husband's editor and proof-reader. She founded a law firm, worked as a lawyer, took care and raised her family. She raised one Prime Minister, one neurosurgeon and one chief of a big company. Her daughters-in-law include a prominent lawyer and the head of a chain of government-linked investment companies.
Our dear Minister Mentor, in his memoirs, has declared that she is smarter and more capable than him. Without her, he would never be who he is now. The saying "Behind every successful man, there is a great and capable woman." is really true in this respect. One can see how much he loves and respects his wife too.
It is our nation's loss that such a great woman is gone. All I can say is Rest In Peace and giving all my condolences to the family. She is indeed an inspiration to all - being the woman every one looks up to. I wish I can be like that too - capable, smart and be a source of support and comfort to my husband as well.
