Half-Day City Tour

Today, the last day of the Conference, we brought the delegates on a half-day city tour to Marina Barrage, Pinnacles at Duxton and Merlion Park. It was a hot day, and upon reaching Merlion Park, I could tell that most of the delegates were too tired to move anymore, so they all started sitting in the shade.

Still, it was a great time bringing them around and letting them enjoy some unique spots on this little island. I took many photos for keepsake too!

First stop - Marina Barrage

View of the Central Business District from the Barrage

Kite-flying at the Barrage

View from top of the Barrage

View of the Marina Bridge

Second stop - Pinnacles @ Duxton

View from the fiftieth floor of the Pinnacles

Revolving doors leading to the lift lobby

The sky garden on top of the Pinnacles

The sun-tanning deck

This looks like a pool, but actually it is not. It is just a patch of blue paint.

There is even a small rock-climbing spot at the other side of the sky garden!

Third stop - Merlion Park

The Merlion spewing water

View of Marina Bay Sands from the Merlion Park

One Fullerton - a row of restaurants next to Merlion Park
