Happy (belated) Father's Day to all the wonderful daddies in the world! For once in a long time, my own dad is finally around during Father's Day, so we brought him out for a big dinner at his favourite seafood restaurant.
We ordered a Father's Day set meal, consisting of a special abalone soup just for the father, as well as black pepper crab, cereal prawns, boneless chicken, fried rice, green vegetables and dessert. It was a sumptuous dinner, and since my mum was not around on Mother's Day, we took it as a joint Mother's Day dinner as well to make up for it.
Considering for the past few years, every Father's Day came and gone without much of a celebration, especially two years back when Father's Day became more of a bad memory than good, yesterday was a really memorable day. I only hope my dad will be around more often, then we can have more memorable days with him!
