Mr Green

I saw the green-eyed monster last night. It is better than the previous one, and this does not deviate that much from the original comic book character and originator. Edward Norton did a great job playing the Hulk, showing that although he turned into somewhat of an abomination, he still retains a soft side, protecting the woman he loves. This show has more action and special effects, not to mention the cast probably tore the entire New York City into shambles.

However, the ending is pretty disappointing. It is ambiguous, no mention of what happened to the blood samples of Bruce Banner, who can turn people into abominations, as well as no mention of those who accidentally came into contact with his blood. So did this Dr Jeckll's experiment succeeded or failed? He will turn into Mr Hyde when infuriated, but at the same time, despite being a big green monster, he still has a soft spot.

As with typical comic to screen shows, we thought there would be a surprise ending at the end, like X-Men and Ironman (both of which I missed the ending after the credits because we went out of the cinema too early), so we waited until after the credits, but to our disappointment, there was nothing. Thus the ending is really ambiguous. Or is it just the beginning of the end, or the end of a beginning? Maybe there will be another green one coming up in another few years?
