I met up with my Financial Planner last night. My company actually got this company in to give us talks on financial planning and management, and as a complimentary service, the staff did up a personal financial report for those who signed up for the talk. My Financial Planner gave me a comprehensive and detailed report, but due to my recent loss, my liquidity is at a rather unhealthy range.
Nevertheless, this came at the right time, because I need to seriously start planning for my future, and factor in everything, including inflation and living expenses. In the event if I really do not get married, I need to see how much I can set aside to get a place of my own, to support my parents, to leave aside upon retirement. All by myself, my own lonesome self, like Bridget Jones!
