Twisted Fairy Tales

"True" events from the stories by the Brothers Grimm :

1. Rapunzel's tower was haunted by a 500-year-old sorceress queen.

2. "Mirror mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them all" was spouted by the sorceress queen for eternal beauty.

3. The queen needed the blood of twelve virgin girls to complete a spell of eternal youth.

4. Red Riding Hood's wolf was actually a man in disguise, under the spell of the sorceress.

5. The Gingerbread Man was so evolved after swallowing a little girl.

6. The "wicked witch" wanted to offer a red apple to the guard accompanying the Grimm brothers on their expedition to "exorcise" the enchanted forest.

7. Hansel and Gretel never made it to the Gingerbread House.

8. The frog would give directions but would not turn into a prince even after kissing it.

9. The first part of breaking the sorceress' spell was to break the mirror in order to kill her.

10. The second part of breaking the spell was to render a true love's kiss on one of the girls.

11. And not all lived happily ever after.

With "twisted" fairy tales like these, no wonder the kids are getting weirder and weirder.....
